Summary
The scene at Belfast as Her Royal Highness launches HMS Eagle, world’s biggest carrier. Watched by a crowd of 50,000 the massive hull slides down the slipway of its natural element. Later HRH attends the christening of, and acted as Godmother to, the infant daughter of Lieutenant Commander Osborne-King. Surprise incident occurred when a bull ran wild amongst crowd outside City Hall.
