Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Militiamen Called Up. DESCRIPTION: The first militiamen report for training. Mr Hore Belisha has a word with those who reported to the Queen’s Royal Regiment. SHOTLIST: A young soldier kisses his mother goodbye, and enters a charabanc. At the depot he receives a handshake from the Sergeant, and receives his equipment. Stunt shot of Sergeant Major bring up their tea in the morning. Later dinner is served and Mr Hore Belisha is present and later he says a few words to the men.
