Summary

The back-to-front plane XP55 Ascender on ground, in flight and manoeuvring. First newsreel pictures of the prototype British Gloster, jet propelled aircraft made to the design of Air Commander Frank Whittle. The Bell P59 also a jet, is an American plane, and is seen with the ordinary P59 radial plane, then on its own in flight and manoeuvring.
