Summary
Britain’s cross-country petrol pipe-line, and its distribution centre to where 900,000 gallons of aviation spirit and 1 1/2 million gallons of pool petrol are pumped daily from the West Country. The whole length of the line is patrolled by men and one woman. Petrol lorries leave the petrol depots, the whole operation of transferring petrol from tanker to petrol tank has been speeded up by this pipe-line.
