Summary

The Queen inspects members of the ATS before they for France. First arrivals are seen on Normandy beachhead and within a few hours are settling into their camp. Meanwhile, American forces make a great break-through of enemy lines capturing a number of towns and villages including St Gillies and Marigny. Aerial views of Coutances shows damage done to the Cathedral. From here on all roads lead to Brittany.
