Summary

B17s of the US Air Force head out on a series of large scale operations which took in eight major targets in Germany, East Prussia and Poland. Air to air shots of the bombers as they move through heavy flak. Marienburgh in East Prussia and then Schweinfurt in Germany are two of the vital targets. The bombers’ gunner intercept German fighter aircraft and one is seen heading down to crash.
