Summary
Weapons containers being packed and loaded into planes. Men of the Airborne Division (being the first to set foot on the Island) are briefed and then with men of the American paratroops are seen putting on their parachutes and checking their equipment. Montgomery visiting the men prior to the raid. Dakotas of the USAF (United States Air Force) head out towards Sicily. Aerial night bombardment by Lancasters over Turin. At a North African port Canadian and British troops embark and the convoy moves off for Sicily.
