- Mr Therm’s Review was a colour promotional cinemagazine made by Film Workshop for the Gas Council. The ‘Mr Therm’ of the title, was a cartoon figure, reminiscent of a flame, that had been used in Gas Council advertising since the 1930s. Each ten-minute issue contained four or five general interest stories, on subjects such as the Chelsea Flower show or dog breeding, at least one of which had a connection to the gas industry. Each issue was generally introduced by the entertainer Richard Murdoch and featured at least one celebrity. Issue no. 5 showed the film star Zena Marshall receiving advice on orchids in her Mayfair flat. The series ran for ten issues with 16mm copies available from the Gas Council Film Library.
