Career

David Lytton was a programme editor on the ‘New Commonwealth’ versions of London Line (1964-1978), a magazine programme produced by the Central Office of Information [qv] for the Commonwealth Relations Office [qv]. These editions were shown in countries which had recently joined the Commonwealth, primarily in Africa and the Caribbean. He is credited in one of the earlier issues, ‘Anti Locust Research’ London Line No.213, released in 1968. He was also occasionally credited as researcher/writer on the series, on ‘BALLOONING’, London Line No.374, released in 1971, for example.
