Career
The Steel Company of Wales was created in 1947 through the nationalisation of the steel industry by the Labour government. As Richard Thomas and Baldwins [qv] became a part of this larger organisation, the Steel Company of Wales became the sponsor of Ingot Pictorial, making stories such as ‘RECORD ARRIVAL’ in Ingot Pictorial No.19 of May 1954.
