Malcolm Furness was a location sound recordist who worked with Norman Fisher [qv]. Furness is credited for a small number of Movietone stories, beginning with ''PRO’ TENNIS’ in British Movietone News No.1685A of September 1961. He was also featured with other Movietone staff in the smoking story ‘NO SMOKE WITHOUT...' in British Movietone News No.1806A of January 1964. ‘C.M. Furness’ appears in the Movietone staff list for January 1964, but his last credit is for ‘HUNDRED MILLION POUNDS WORTH - STRAIGHT UP’ in No.1896 of October 1965.
