Raising awareness of moving image & sound content in your institution

Friday 7 December 2012, 10am – 3pm
The Geological Society, Piccadilly, London

The BUFVC forum discussed how to raise awareness of the value of using moving image and sound in teaching, learning and research for those promoting it within their institutions.

Delegates listened to case studies detailing the difficulties many higher and further education institutions face when promoting moving image and sound internally, as well as inspiring success stories from those that are getting results.

The event also included the latest on academic citation for audiovisual content from the academic citation steering group, which forms part of the BUFVC-led Shared Services Project (funded by HEFCE). A full set of guidelines will be released in March 2013.
