The Royal Television Society represents over 4,000 members across the spectrum of the broadcasting industry and provides an independent forum where members can discuss any television related matter. The society also supports and promotes networking within the industry. The website has fairly basic content, but it does provide transcripts of lectures given at recent RTS events, and has a useful links page. Articles from the Society’s journal Television are available free online a month after publication.
The ARSC is a non-profit organization dedicated to research, study, publication, and information exchange surrounding all aspects of recordings and recorded sound. The site includes news, details of publications, and links to the ARSC-L discussion list.
Discussion list hosted by the University of California Berkeley Library on the acquisition, evaluation, bibliographic control, preservation and use of of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions and video producers and distributors. The primary focus of the discussion supported by this list is on video collection, access, and use. Examples of discussion topics include: copyright and intellectual property issues; evaluations of materials; collection development policy issues; selection methodology; acquisition concerns (locating hard-to-find materials, library/vendor relations, etc.), issues related to evolving video technologies and libraries.

A privately-produced "home page for the alternative cinematic experience". Very good news information, links to avant garde film/video artists and venues as well as a wide range of related resources. Also includes the ‘Frameworks’ discussion list, the Hi-Beam online magazine for experimental film and video, and an image gallery, but no moving images.

The site also includes useful articles on various aspects of jewellery design and construction.
