    On-demand streaming platform for educational institutions featuring over 26,000 films from leading producers including PBS, BBC, the Criterion Collection, First Run Features, Media Education Foundation, but also many other smaller, niche producers. The site offers both a platform from which to stream films as well as providing a video hosting service. A full range of academic subjects is covered and many of the films, programmes and clips are not otherwise available on DVD. The site also features detailed analytics so that librarians can more easily assess how the site is being used by students. Subscription is based on paying only for the films which students and institutions actually watch.

    A collection of political television adverts from key 2016 primary election states in the USA. The resource forms a searchable archive of political ads broadcast during the 2016 primary season and has been created by the Internet Archive in conjunction with a number of journalism advocacy groups. The aim of the resource is primarily to enable journalists to check each advert’s sponsor, topics covered, candidates mentioned, and the shows during it aired during.

    The Labor Film Database lists nearly 2,000 films and videos from around the world about work, workers and worker’s issues. The database is searchable by title, director, actors and/or keywords (e.g. discrimination, global economy, whistleblowing). The synopses vary in length and detail but are informative and well written. Many of the entries are accompanied by the streamed film; there are also trailers and film stills. The database is intended to serve as a valuable resource for programmers of film festivals highlighting work and workers. Users of the site are encouraged to submit suggestions for films to be included on the database.
