Musician Darren Hayman has created this website to document his ‘project about rural life’ in which he visits every one of the 54 Thankful Vilages in England and Wales . A Thankful or Blessed Village, is the name given by writer and educator Arthur Mee to a settlement where every soldier returned alive from the First World War. The films, music and text on the site rarely refer directly to the Great War itself: Hayman’s project is more a way of exploring aspects of life in small rural communities and documenting his own responses to his journey through the music he makes - written and recorded in each village as he travels the country.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum exists to collect, preserve and interpret the impact rock has made on popular culture. The evolving story of rock can be found on the blog and feature pages offering news, artist interviews, performance notes, and the latest event and exhibit happenings. The video series pages offer many streamed videos including Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney and Queen being inducted into the Hall of Fame and performances from Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bruce Springsteen, Chuck Berry and many others. An extensively researched and authoritative online database of Shakespeare-related content in film, television, radio and video recording. It is international in scope and regularly updated currently holding over 8,000 records dating from the 1890s to the present day. This resource was created through a three-year Resource Enhancement grant from the Arts & Humanities Research Council. The Database encompasses not only ‘straight’ productions of the plays but also parodies, plot borrowings, documentaries, and Shakespeare as represented in music, mime and dance.
