CTVC originally stood for Churches Television Centre, when it was founded in 1959 by J. Arthur Rank to train clergy in the use of the television medium. It eventually moved into film production, becoming the Foundation for Christan Communication, while keeping the CTVC logo, and now produces religious programming for UK broadcasters. Details of its latest programmes are given. CTVC also acquires and distributes videos on Christian themes, searchable here under Children, Lectures, Documentaries, Music and Features. The site also gives a history of the CTVC.
