Launched as a charity in 2002 and counting now with a membership of over 4,500 musicians and teachers, Sounds Connections supports the music education sector in London through partnerships and programmes across four key music specialisms: Challenging Circumstances, Early Years, Youth Voice and Sector & Workforce Development. The resources section of the website offers free access to Films, Briefing papers, Case Study, Handouts and Reports. Some of the films included are Inspire-music Pupil Clips, in which students from across the UK give their opinion about their ideal music lesson, and What’s that Noise?, about how to identify and support children’s musicality.
