BirdLife groups together over 120 organisations worldwide that strive to conserve birds, their habitats and global biodiversity. Their website includes a Data Zone section which presents a wealth of scientific data on the world’s bird species and the sites critical to their conservation. This information can be easily viewed at national and territorial level using the Country Profiles searching capabilities; there is also a Case Studies section, and a Seabird Tracking Database, which contains the largest collection of seabird data in the world. This data can be searched and viewed within the site, but access to the actual data is restricted.
