The Labor Film Database lists nearly 2,000 films and videos from around the world about work, workers and worker’s issues. The database is searchable by title, director, actors and/or keywords (e.g. discrimination, global economy, whistleblowing). The synopses vary in length and detail but are informative and well written. Many of the entries are accompanied by the streamed film; there are also trailers and film stills. The database is intended to serve as a valuable resource for programmers of film festivals highlighting work and workers. Users of the site are encouraged to submit suggestions for films to be included on the database.
