Collection of talks by Peter Adamson, Professor of Ancient and Medieval Philosophy at King’s College London, who takes the listener through a comprehensive series of 88 lectures on classical and medieval western philosophic thought, from Thales and other Presocratic philosophers, through Socrates, Plato and Aristotle and other examples of Classical Greek philosophy, to Hellenistic schools of thought such as Epicureanism and Stoicism, covering such thinkers as Seneca, Cicero and Galen, up to Plotinus and the Neoplatonists.
