Learning on Screen Conference and Awards 2010
The Learning on Screen Conference 2010 was held at The Open University in Milton Keynes on 27th and 28th April 2010.
The conference explored the challenges facing staff and students accessing and using moving pictures and sound in distance learning.
The Learning on Screen Awards ceremony took place on the evening of 27th April at the Hilton Hotel, Milton Keynes. The evening saw the British Universities Film & Video Council present a number of awards which celebrate and reward excellence in the use of moving image, sound and related media in learning, teaching and research.
The ceremony was presented by Professor Marcus du Sautoy, the Charles Simonyi Professor for the Public Understanding of Science at the University of Oxford and presenter of ‘The Story of Maths‘ (The Open University: BBC 4) and was attended by delegates from academia, broadcast and the publishing community.
