Learning on Screen Conference 2011

Conference Themes

The 2011 Learning on Screen Conference focused on the importance and benefits of using moving image and sound in education.  Sessions explored the following key themes:Students around laptop (190)

  • using moving image and sound to improve teaching and learning
  • meeting student expectations
  • content – finding it and using it effectively
  • production – designing successful educational media
  • controlling and reducing costs.

Presentations

Presentations included practical guidance, innovative ideas and case studies from a selection of speakers.  Delegates also had the valued opportunity to discuss and share personal experiences with expert practitioners, presenters and colleagues.
