This free one-day event will take an in-depth, pragmatic look at the ERA Plus Licence and how to use it within education establishments, including:

  • the benefits and requirements of the licence
  • security, authentication and geographical identification issues
  • technical solutions
  • practical case studies from current users

Attendees will gain the opportunity to discuss their questions with representatives from The Educational Recording Agency (ERA) and the providers of television catch-up services from the broadcasting industry, as well as useful tips from other licensee holders.

There will be a number of short presentations from speakers including, Andrew Yeates, General Counsel at ERA, Richard Cooper, Head of Digital Distribution at the BBC and Luis Carrasqueiro, Deputy Chief Executive at the British Universities Film & Video Council, amongst others.

Attendance is free of charge, but places are limited and booking is ESSENTIAL.
