Synopsis

This programme spans nearly three decades of life in theTest Valley in Hampshire and visits a selection of villages along the course of the river Test, from Andover to Southampton Water. Among the many local characters we meet are farmers and smallholders, river keepers, fishermen, gardeners, wheelwrights and thatchers.. Presented by Jill Cochrane and Dr Jim Flegg.
