Synopsis
This documentary captures the memories of Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire’s Caribbean Community, who tell they stories in their own words. Many interviews highlight the contribution they have made to the area over the years and the vital role they have played in the history of Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire. They share their experiences of moving to England in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Also featured is the work of the Caribbean organisations in the area and the pioneers that created them, working tirelessly to improve the lives of their community - CCMA, NORSACA and Midlands Jamaica Aid.
