It’s Not Just a Job
- Synopsis
- Explores the ‘other side’ of military recruitment and military life from the various perspectives of service veterans, activists for peace and social change, and young people. Former service men and women talk about their experiences, and counsellors explain the differences between the promises and the reality of military life. The video also looks at military recruitment and advertisements and shows how war and violence are glamorised in the mass media and popular culture. U.S.A.
