Synopsis

This podcast takes a fresh look at recent political history. In Season One, writer Leon Neyfakh, focuses on the Watergate scandal. The podcast draws parallels between the administration of Richard Nixon and Donald Trump, and asks the haunting question of how would we know whether we are currently living through the next Watergate. In Season Two, Neyfakh and his team revisit the Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky affair and the events that lead to the impeachment hearing against Clinton in 1998.
