Synopsis
Filmmaker Spike Lee returns to New Orleans, the scene of his post-Katrina documentary WHEN THE LEVEES BROKE: A REQUIEM IN FOUR ACTS (2006). On this occasion, he focuses mainly on the BP disaster, from the initial rig explosion and months of leaking oil to the ensuing media coverage and revelations about safety regulations being disregarded in the name of short-term profits. The film highlights the environmental, economic, and humanitarian ramifications.
