An acclaimed playwright, novelist, dissident and social activist; Ng g Wa Thiong’o is the Distinguished Professor of Comparative Literature at the University of California, Irvine. He joins University of Cambridge Lecturer an scholar Edward Wilson-Lee in conversation to discuss Shakespeare’s impact on the history, literary culture and politics of East Africa.
