Synopsis
Stanley Kubrick’s powerful anti-war film stars Kirk Douglas as Colonel Dax, the leader of a group of French soldiers fihgting in World War I, who are framed for cowardice and put on trial, on pain of death, after the failure of a mission to capture an enemy stronghold. Dax, a former lawyer, takes up the defence against almost impossible odds.


The Masters of Cinema Blu-Ray edition features High Definition presentation, subtitles for the deaf and hearing imoaired, a video interview with Kubrick scholar Peter Kramer, a video interview with filmmaker Richard Ayoade.
