Synopsis
BBC documentary with historian David Reynolds who travels Europe exploring the very long historical shadow cast by World War I. Travelling from Slovenia to the Sudetenland, and from Belfast to Berlin, he shows that we are still dealing with forces unleashed by a war that haunted the generation who lived through it.
