After the Rains Came: Seven Short Stories About Objects and Lifeworlds

Synopsis
Sarah Thomas directed and edited ‘After The Rains Came: Seven short stories about objects and lifeworlds’ as part of her MA Visual Anthropology ethnographic research among the cow herding Samburu people of Northern Kenya. The original intent to explore the Samburu’s customs of bodily adornment was adjusted to take into account the long drought, which coincidentally ended on the day of Thomas’s arrival. [20 minutes]
