Synopsis
A chronological account of the how the BBC has depicted the lives and works of the Brontë sisters over the past fifty years. Amongst the productions included are the 1956 version of ‘Jane Eyre’ with Stanley Baker and Daphne Slater and the 1962 adaptation of ‘Wuthering Heights’ with Claire Bloom. More recent versions considered include a the 1996 version of ‘The Tenant of Wildfell Hall’ with Tara Fitzgerald and Rupert Graves. 89 minutes]
