Synopsis
Docudrama directed by Clare Beavan that explores the life of British mathematician Alan Turing and the events that led up to his death in 1954, when he ate an apple laced with cyanide following his conviction for gross indecency. Turing is widely considered to be the father of computer science and information technology whose work in helping to crack the Nazi’s Enigma code helped shorten World War II and saved millions of lives.
