Synopsis
This documentary tells the story of Shin Dong-Hyuk, who was born in and spent his entire childhood in a North Korean re-education camp. Knowing nothing of the outside world, at the age of 23, he escaped and travelled across North Korea, China, finally reaching South Korea, a world completely strange to him.
