Rosie the Actress
- Synopsis
- US sitcom. Rosie is taking classes in drama, and is singled out by the famous actress Blanche Marlowe to play a bit part as Charmian in her travelling production of Antony and Cleopatra; Rosie gets bitten by the acting bug, especially when Miss Marlowe helps her obtain a scholarship to the New York Academy of Dramatic Arts. On the night the news of the scholarship arrives, she is at the library reading about the history of the theatre and meets a pre-med student. When Jake sits her down to give her a fatherly talk about the importance of getting an education, she docilely agrees and then informs Molly that she has met the man she is going to marry and now plans to study nursing.
