Queen of Versailles, The

Synopsis
Lauren Greenfield’s documentary tells the story of Jackie and David Siegel and the consequences of the 2008 financial crisis on their lavish lifestyle. When Siegels’ timeshare business empire goes into meltdown, so do the family’s plans to build a $75 million mansion, modelled on the Palace of Versailles. The mansion remains half-built, as the Siegels attempt to adjust to their new situation.
