McCullin
- Synopsis
- A documentary exploring the work of British photojournalist, Don McCullin, featuring contributions from Harold Evans, who was McCullin’s editor at the Sunday Times from 1969 to 1984, as well as McCullin himself. McCullin became best known in the 1970s and 80s for his photographs taken in war zones around the world, from the Congo and Lebanon, to Cyprus, Northern Ireland and Vietnam. Though his shots were shocking and gave a candid look at the effects of war on those involved, he went on to become one of the most acclaimed photojournalists of the 20th century. The film conveys the importance of the images Don has taken and the changes in photojournalism over the years.
