Four part series narrated by the poet John Betjeman which looks at the work of influential Gothic architects in 1850s England. The buildings considered by Betjeman include the Houses of Parliament, the Natural History Museum and Westminster Abbey. Among the architects whose work is examined are Charles Barry, Augustus Pugin, William Butterfield and Sir Edwin Lutyens.
