Durga: The Goddess Comes to London
- Synopsis
- Documentary which tells how Indian craftsmen, directed by sculptor Nemai Chandra Pal came to London, to construct a giant tableau of the goddess, Durga, and her family in the Great Court of the British Museum. Focusing on multicultural London, particularly the Bengali community, the film is more about community and cultural issues rather than directly concerned with issues of faith.
