Disarm

Synopsis
DISARM spans a dozen countries to look at how, despite a global ban, millions of anti-personnel mines continue to claim victims daily in over 80 countries. Co-directed by Mary Wareham, a leader of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL) and Brian Liu, with an original score by Brendan Canty of Fugazi, the film features harrowing footage smuggled out of the isolated nation of Burma, scenes from minefields in Iraq and Colombia and exclusive scenes shot by Afghan deminers.
