First Contact

Synopsis
The dense lowland swamps of New Guinea and the outer reaches of the Amazon Basin are home to the last groups of ‘uncontacted’ hunter-gatherer tribes still in existence. They are the few human beings that still live as our ancestors once did. Former tennis professional Kelly Woodford now makes a living taking high-paying tourists to visit these remote tribes on the shores of West Papua, the Indonesian side of New Guinea. To some he offers the ultimate adventure, to others he is nothing more than a fake. journeys with Woodford on one of his expeditions to uncover the truth. Woodford vehemently denies the accusations against him but it is possible that he himself is the victim of an elaborate hoax?
