Felicity Kendal’s Indian Shakespeare Quest

Synopsis
Television documentary. Actress Felicity Kendal started her stage career in India where her parents ran an eccentric touring Shakespeare company called Shakespeareana. Now she returns to India to investigate the country’s enduring love affair with Shakespeare from the days of the Raj to Bollywood revealing how Shakespeare’s plays started out as symbols of British cultural dominance but went on to inspire generations of Indian actors and directors.
