- Synopsis
- Wildlife enthusiast Kate Humble, historian Dan Snow and biologist Steve Backshall travel to the St. Kilda archipelago in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland where they investigate the islands’ wildlife and history. Humble and Backshall observe and encounter shearwaters, puffins, gannets and skuas as well as seals and the St Kilda mouse, while Snow provides a historical background from the time of the Vikings to the day in 1930 when St. Kilda’s human population was evacuated.
