Not Just a Bad Day: Living with Bipolar Disorder

Synopsis
This documentary explores the lives of four people living under the shadow of one of the most commonly misunderstood and diagnosed mental illnesses, bipolar disorder. The young mother, the party boy, the executive and the teacher all share a common goal: to live a normal life. We see their personal struggles as they each cope with the emotional highs and lows of the disorder. Treating them all through a groundbreaking mood disorders programme he created at his clinic is psychiatrist Dr. Paul Termansen. He goes beyond just prescribing a pill and offers a holistic approach, helping patients manage their mood swings and live productive, balanced lives.
