Nuclear Harvest

Synopsis
When we talk or think about the horrors of nuclear war we usually only think about its results in relation to human beings but what about the effects on the animals of this world? Working farmers, vets and animal biologists talk about what a nuclear war would mean to the farming community and ultimately to the rest of us. Their chilling and matter of fact account should make us all realise (if we didn’t already know it) what a Sword of Damocles we all live under. Although not a new film its contents are unfortunately not out of date.
With this DVD comes a 10 page pamphlet ‘Would Farming Survive a Nuclear Disaster?' and a 56 page booklet ‘A Guide to the Effects of a Nuclear Disaster on Agriculture’. (Described by BBC ‘On Your Farm’ as "the most authoritative that is readily available").
