Synopsis
A 90-minute documentary tracing the history of Liberalism and Conservatism in the United States. Designed to appeal to a general audience as well as students and political activists, AMERICAN FEUD explores the back story of a political system seemingly in crisis. Useful for provoking discussion and debate. Includes interviews with politicians, writers and academics including Noam Chomsky and G. Gordon Liddy, phoptographs, archival film, electoral maps, quotes, colourful graphics and music to tell the history of Liberalism and Conservatism from the 1890s to the present.

60 minutes of DVD extras include: 15 additional minutes of Noam Chomsky interview; extra scenes including ‘breaking the stalemate’; producer/director commentary track; 15 minutes of addiitonal interview clips; suggested reading list; behind the scenes time-lapse wide shot of interviews (set up and break down); secret hidden menu.
