Synopsis
Beryl Izzard has lived with bipolar for over 40 years. Her way of expressing herself is through poetry. Through a series of 8 poems, each one interpreted by striking images from around the world and accompanied by original music scores, Beryl talks about living with bipolar disorder (manic depression). The DVD traces her journey and gives a valuable insight into the mind of someone affected by the disorder clearly illustrating the impact of ‘highs and lows’.
