Welcome to Death Row
- Synopsis
- Music label Death Row Records has, since its inception in the early ‘90s, become synonymous with American hip-hop culture. Formed by ex-bodyguard Suge Knight, the label once boasted an impressive roster of hip hop talent. However, several highly-publicised setbacks including the shooting of Tupac, artists’ in-fighting, the imprisonment of Suge Knight, and declining album sales, turned the label into a shadow of its former self. This well-researched documentary explores the history of this intriguing and incredibly significant company.
