Synopsis
A television production of Samuel Barber’s opera, first performed in 1966, with libretto by Franco Zeffirelli with Catherine Malfitano as Cleopatra and Richard Cowan as Antony. The Lyric Opera of Chicago is conducted by Richard Buckley. The production was designed for stage by Elijah Moshinsky and for television by Kirk Browning.
